Director’s Notes
Happy Holidays! What a great time of the year, the feel of Christmas is in the air and the are children getting anxious and excited as the day draws near. Be sure to take the time to notice the classroom bulletin boards full of artwork that the children have created.
On Wednesday, December 12th we will be performing “The Christmas Story Through the Eyes of a Child” the children and teachers have been rehearsing daily and have worked very hard on their parts and lines, it is a very exciting time for them and they are very proud of themselves so feel free to bring guests along to watch. If your child is an angel please dress them in white (we have wing and halos). If your child is a wiseman
(“or a wise woman” as Sofia A. says, as she is a girl wiseman), shepherd or manger animal their costumes are already provided. Please leave your children here at 6:45 and we will walk them over with their class. After the program please join us in the preschool for refreshments.
Thank you all for your generous support with our Christmas wish list. We are all very excited to introduce all of the new materials that you have purchased to the children.
If are able to and have not purchased a wish list item there are still a few items left on the board in Room 8.
King’s Valley Preschool will be closed December 24th -January 2nd. On Friday, December 21st at 10:00 we will be decorating Christmas cookies if anyone would like to join us and decorate a cookie with your child please let me know so I can make sure we have enough cookies.
I wish you and your family a wonderful, happy holiday in celebration of our Savior’s birth.
Sincerely, Mrs. Carolyn Goodin |
